July 22, 2005 - ramblings
First off, the new character is Willa Cather. I hope I'm not getting too obscure here. I just remembered reading My Anotonia back in high school, and the teacher telling us how all the critics decided, though she never announced it, that she was a lesbian based on, among other things, the fact that she usually wrote from a male's perspective. Our class decided that was bs. Regardless, she may have been, but as she never came forward about it, I think I'm safe in doing this comic.

I hand-drew this week's as well. I think I may keep up with it. I'm not entirely sure. If you have an opinion one way or the other, feel free to let me know.

Anyway, because I feel like rambling today...
Something seemed oddly familiar about the date as I typed it today, and then I realized it was exactly 3 years ago when I started my first web comic. Doesn't seem like that long ago, until I think about actually drawing and writing most of the strips from back in the day (yes, that's a pun). Maybe it's just for my own sanity, but I like to think I've progressed over the years.
