Comic for August 26, 2005

August 26, 2005 - Tell-tale stomache
First off, hello to any new readers I may have picked up at Otakon. That's probably not too many as I wasn't a guest or anything, but I did sneak my URL into a few conversations over the course of the weekend :) I could list some awesome con moments, but I'm still working on doing illustrations of them, so those will be posted at some time in the coming week or so.

I'm also still trying to figure out why it is that Edgar Allen Poe is so easy to draw. And why he looks so much like Mr. Feeny (moreso in pictures than his Epilogue counterpart). He was originally going to be a character from the start, then never got worked in. Then a certain battle in the SketchBattle forums, a drawing by Watson made sure he wasn't going to make an appearance anytime soon after that (not that I had any ideas for him at the time anyway). Anyhow, I guess he'll probably be sticking around in the comic for a while now.

Sunday, I'm heading back to college. Depending on the work load from my classes, this could be a good or bad thing for my updating times. We'll see about that, I guess. Unfortunately, this semester, none of my classes were taken for the sake of the comic (last semester I took Figure Drawing and American Lit with the Epilogue in mind... moreso American Lit though, as I would have had to take Figure Drawing anyway).

Also, I have been told to speak of fish in this newspost. So... I enjoy fish. Swordfish is especially good to eat. And salmon. But don't go bringing up shellfish. Especially lobster. Lobster is right out.
