F. Scott Fitzgerald (a.k.a. "Fitz"), (1896-1940) In life: Fitz was part of "The Lost Generation," and wrote novels famed for their portrayal of America's Jazz Age of the 1920's, such as The Great Gatsby. In death: Fitz is still on a search for the American Dream, although the afterlife is most certainly not America. He's good friends and drinking buddies with Ernest Hemingway, which is a continuation of their friendship in life.
